Fire the Canon!!

So! As it just so happens I get a phone call from Dan Labelle telling me about these kids that would like to take their band to the next level. He contacts us with a potential opportunity to shoot a live video at the Arcada Theater while it's closed. This would provide a private viewing of the band with a few key investors. These kids were actually super nice so naturally, I say yes.

This was 24 hours before the actual shoot would begin. Dan Dusing to my right decides to jump in on the opportunity. "Oh hell yeah that sounds like fun!" Josh Spooner immediately exclaimed.

We pack up our gear and round up the usual suspects. We arrive there and this awkward feeling came over me- Being in an empty place that normally seats 3000. There were only 10 of us not including the band. These kids killed it. They knocked it out of the park. Immediately there are these moments while they were singing and playing and I was stunned by how breathtaking the entire experience was. We do these projects because we love what we do. We produced a video for some kids that are still as of yet unknown, not for the money but because if we as a company can help these kids grow and one day get a record deal then why the hell not. Art supports art.
